Abstract

Hotel management is the science used to manage hotel business operations. Apart from hotel management, computer technology also plays an important role in hotel management so that hotel operations can run effectively and efficiently. Based on the observations and analysis that the author has done at Hotel Zaen Syariah, service management and guest data processing and transaction reports are still done manually using reservation form sheets, front office cashier sheets, and the Ms. Excel program so that guest data processing and transaction reports are lacking. effective and efficient, causing misunderstanding among front office staff. Therefore, it is necessary to have a hotel management information system that can assist guest data processing and transaction reports.

The data collection methods that the authors use in this observation are observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study. This system was built using the waterfall development method, with the PHP and HTML programming languages. This system was built using the Sublime Text 3 application to write and edit program code, as well as Phpmyadmin, MySQL which is a package from XAMPP as database storage.

This hotel management information system generates room type master input forms, room master, add on master, added booking data, added guest data, check-in transactions, guest add on transactions, check out transactions, print bills, reservation data reports, print transaction reports certain period, print guest data report. With this system, it is hoped that it can assist agencies in serving and processing guest data.
